Summer Events

Join us for Sundays in July!  Each Sunday during the month of July we host services followed by lemonade and pound cake under the pines. 

This year’s Theme is Head, Heart and Hand. A common motto of the Arts & Crafts movement, Head, Heart and Hand has inspired countless people to bring all of them -- their creativity, imagination, intelligence, honesty, love, skill, and craft -- to their work and lives.

The series will be an exploration of the motto, with each speaker offering their own perspective on a facet, to show how this over-century-old motto continues to inspire today.

Marvin will share how he -- against significant odds -- started a thriving business while also creating a supportive community within his industry.

Marvin Joles III is the founder and owner of Wis-Coat, Wisconsin's top-rated asphalt company. He is active in his community of Lone Rock, championing efforts to create a splash pad and skatepark. He is a leader within the asphalt industry and tackles difficult issues -- like mental health -- with candor on his Blacktop Banter podcast. He is also a contributing writer for Pavement Maintenance Magazine.
