Kim Starr, a member of the First Unitarian Society of Madison, will tell us about her autistic, developmentally disabled daughter’s spiritual experience as an adolescent and how it affected the whole family.
Summer Events
Join us for Sundays in July! Each Sunday during the month of July we host services followed by lemonade and pound cake under the pines.
This year’s Theme is Head, Heart and Hand. A common motto of the Arts & Crafts movement, Head, Heart and Hand has inspired countless people to bring all of them -- their creativity, imagination, intelligence, honesty, love, skill, and craft -- to their work and lives.
The series will be an exploration of the motto, with each speaker offering their own perspective on a facet, to show how this over-century-old motto continues to inspire today.
